When it became apparent our parents needed to make a change, we experienced first-hand the difficulties of selling the family home. Tom’s parents moved to an independent living facility early on. They enjoyed their Golden Years with a plan in place for graduated care. When Nancy’s father passed, her mother lived with us for several years before transitioning to an independent/assisted living community.
